In Lower Austria, there are numerous funding programs and government incentives that support companies in strengthening their innovative power and further developing the location. Particularly in the areas of digitalization and green transformation, targeted measures are offered to make companies fit for the future and increase their competitiveness.
Stimulus programs for digitalization
The digi4Wirtschaft impulse programme supports companies in Lower Austria with digitalization. It promotes the introduction of new technologies and the optimization of business processes through the increased use of data.
Programs in detail
The digi4Wirtschaft impulse programme consists of three parts: digi Kickstart for the introduction to digitalization through workshops, digi Assistent for advice and identification of digitalization potential and digi Investition to promote investments in data-supported technologies. Companies can receive grants of up to 50% of the eligible costs, up to a maximum of 25,000 euros. A total of up to EUR 4 million is available for the program, and financing is also possible via a NÖBEG guarantee. Companies in the commercial and tourism sectors that have been operating in Lower Austria for at least three years and have their registered office there are eligible for funding. Companies from sectors such as banks, insurance companies and research institutions are excluded.
