Dream big.
Brand bigger.

We define a brand's core values and shape its identity. By developing a consistent visual language, we strengthen brand awareness and long-term recognition.

Chapter 01 — Approach

First concept. Then design.

A brand is more than a logo or a colour. It is a stance, a language, a feeling that connects people to what a company stands for. We start every engagement with the concept, the why, the what, the for whom, and only then translate that thinking into a visual and verbal system. Clarity, consistency and character in every form of communication is the brief.

The Incubation Model

From the first sketch to a lasting market presence.

We accompany companies from their first sketch through establishment and long-term growth. The work is not a logo file at the end of an engagement, it is a structured identity system that survives every team change, every new touchpoint, every market shift.

Every element is designed to function as part of a unified whole. Recognition, credibility and lasting market presence are the outputs.

Chapter 02 — Identity & Design

The wordmark is the brand carrier.

A logo is the visual shorthand. A brand is everything around it. Below: the master wordmark presented on the two canonical surfaces, dark stage and cream paper.

01 Clear space

Keep at least the height of the lettermark clear around the logo. No type, image or line within that space.

02 Minimum size

24 mm in print, 120 px on digital. Below that the wordmark loses legibility, switch to the lettermark.

03 Background

Charcoal or cream only. On photography: calm, dark areas with enough contrast for the mark to breathe.

The framework

A four-stage path from idea to brand.

Every engagement follows the same structure. The depth of each stage scales with the brief.

01. Strategy

Foundation

Naming logic, brand values, audience definition, positioning, tone of voice. The thinking everything else rests on. We articulate what the company stands for before a single visual decision is made.

02. Identity

Visible layer

Wordmark, master logo, combination marks, logo variations, colour system, typography, design language. The form the strategy takes, built to scale across every format the brand will ever need.

03. Touchpoints

In the world

Every place the brand actually lives, stationery, website, social channels, signage, print, packaging, environment, digital tooling. The brand expressed where the customer meets it.

04. Guidelines

Carried forward

A documented brand book that codifies the system. Internal teams, agencies and external suppliers can extend the brand in the future without diluting it. The thread continues.

Colour System

Two anchors, two supports.

Most engagements settle on a small palette that does a lot of work. Two anchor tones carry the brand. Two supports give surface and accent. Application rules live in the brand book, what to use where, in what proportion.

01 Proportion

~60 % paper as breathing space, ~30 % beige as warmth, ~10 % charcoal for type and accents. Never inverted.

02 Pairing

Charcoal type on cream or paper. Beige as section anchor or hover-state warmth. Cream for muted blocks that need a soft separation.

03 Accent

Every brand we build receives one project-specific accent on top of the neutral foundation. Used sparingly, buttons, hover states, eyebrows.

Typography

One typeface, three weights.

The brand's verbal voice gets a typographic shape. Light for headlines, regular for body, medium for everything spaced and uppercased. A system fallback covers what the brand typeface can't.

Where the brand lives

Every touchpoint matters.

A brand is only as consistent as its weakest touchpoint. We work across the full surface, digital, printed, spatial, haptic, so the company looks and feels like itself wherever it shows up.

Digital

Website. Social profiles. Newsletters. Email signatures. Google Business. Job ads. Digital ads. App icons.

Print

Stationery. Brochures. Reports. Catalogues. Posters. Vehicle livery. Outdoor campaigns. Editorial work.

Haptic

Business cards, paper choice, finish, edge colour. Packaging. Merchandise. Trade-show stands. Gifts.

Spatial

Office signage. Reception walls. Showroom branding. Storefront identity. Wayfinding. Environmental graphics.

Defining brand values

The values come first. Everything else follows.

Before any visual work begins, we agree on a short, written set of brand values together with the founders. Not as a buzzword exercise, as the criteria every later decision is measured against. A typography choice, a colour, a paper stock, a tone of voice on the website: each is judged by whether it expresses those values or contradicts them.

Common pillars across the brands we have built include exclusivity, quality, discretion, integrity, expertise, reliability, service and prestige, though every company arrives at a unique combination. The articulation matters more than the words. A brand whose owner can name its values in one sentence is a brand that can grow with confidence.

The thread

A red thread runs through the entire system.

Every decision, from the typography of a footer to the choice of paper stock for a business card, runs along the same thread. Consistency is not a constraint; it is the device that lets a brand accumulate meaning over time. The longer the thread, the more recognisable the brand becomes.

Chapter 03 — Software & Digital

When the brand needs a tool, we build it.

Brand incubation increasingly ends in software: a booking flow, an internal dashboard, a product configurator, an automated workflow. As a complement to the identity work, we design and develop lean digital solutions that carry the brand system into the product itself, same typography, same tone, same thread.

01

Custom web applications

Tailored tools built around how the company actually works, booking and enquiry flows, configurators, client portals, internal dashboards. Lean, fast and branded down to the last form field.

02

Automation & integrations

Connecting the systems a young company already uses. CRM, accounting, e-mail, scheduling, so repetitive work runs by itself and the team can focus on the product.

03

Digital products

From prototype to launch: scoping, architecture, development and maintenance of small digital products that extend the brand, with the same care as every printed touchpoint.

Chapter 04 — How we work

Strategic positioning.

Every brand decision is grounded in analysis, market understanding and long-term viability. Positioning, tone of voice and visual identity are developed with clear strategic intent, ensuring brands remain adaptable, relevant and competitive over time.

Proximity & collaboration.

Projects are developed in close coordination with founders and client teams, transparency, alignment, clarity at every phase. Direct communication and short decision paths support focused work without losing strategic direction.

Culture

How we work.

Kubanka is built on a conviction: the work speaks, so we don't have to. Three commitments shape how this agency runs, all of them deliberate.

01

Our clients are our marketing

We run no advertising for ourselves. The reputation our clients earn and the campaigns they put into the world are the visible record of our work, and the reference we choose to be measured by. We stay in the background by design, not by accident.

02

Remote by structure

The agency is built to operate fully remote, location-independent, lean and cost-efficient. We keep no offices for the sake of appearances; resources flow into the work, not into overhead. Distance is no obstacle to proximity in a project.

03

Professional restraint

Discretion is not a courtesy, it is part of our identity. In the environments we work in, the luxury segment among them, restraint is expected and appropriate. We hold ourselves to that standard: precise, professional and deliberately quiet.

Principles

Three principles, every engagement.

From a first founder workshop to maintenance of a fifty-person brand system, the same three principles carry every engagement.

01

Clear and consistent brand communication

A strong brand requires a unified message across every channel. By clearly defining values, tone of voice and visual identity, the brand stays recognisable and earns trust, on a website, on social, in a campaign.

02

Audience-driven communication and community

Successful branding means finding the right voice for the right people. Targeted storytelling and interactive formats create emotion and bind audiences to the brand. An active community on social and in direct dialogue strengthens long-term engagement.

03

Strategic, data-driven optimisation

An effective communication strategy is continuously analysed and refined. Data, customer feedback and market observation inform every campaign. Professional reputation management protects the brand image when it matters most.

Chapter 05 — Websites & Marketing

Built mobile-first, made to last.

The website is the one touchpoint every campaign eventually lands on. We design it from the brand system and build it lean — quick to load, comfortable on a phone, and readable for search engines and AI assistants alike.

Design from the brand

Layout, type and colour come straight from the identity system. The site looks like the company — not like a template.

Mobile first

Planned for the phone screen first, then enhanced for larger displays. Navigation, galleries and forms stay comfortable with one thumb.

Fast and lean

Hand-built pages without ballast: quick to load, stable to run, simple to host. Speed is a ranking factor — and a courtesy to visitors.

Found by people and machines

Clean structure, descriptive metadata and structured data make every page as readable for Google as for AI assistants — SEO and GEO from day one.

Accessible by default

Contrast, keyboard operation and screen-reader support are part of the build, not an afterthought — good practice, and increasingly the law.

Cared for, long term

Content updates, new sections, measurement and maintenance: the site grows with the company instead of ageing beside it.

Online Marketing

Visibility, built step by step.

One-off campaigns fade; presence compounds. Six disciplines, planned from the brand and measured with respect for your visitors — no guesswork, no gimmicks.

Search engine optimisation

Technical health, content and regional visibility in one hand — so the company shows up exactly where its customers are searching, including locally.

Generative engine optimisation

More and more first questions are answered by AI assistants. We structure content so they can find, understand and cite the brand correctly — GEO as the new front door.

Digital advertising

Campaigns on search and social platforms with clear goals, honest budgets and continuous tuning — reach that is bought once and earned from then on.

Content & social media

Editorial planning, production and channel care from one source, fed by our own photo and video work — one voice across every channel.

Newsletter & email

The channel you own, with no algorithm in between. Concept, design and clean, consent-based sending that people actually open.

Analytics & reporting

Privacy-first measurement that answers real questions — what was seen, what was clicked, what it led to — reported in plain language, not dashboards for their own sake.

Chapter 06 — Content & Campaigns

Content is part of the brand.

Photography, video and the website itself carry the identity into daily use. All three are produced in house, on the visual line the brand defines.

Media Network

Brands we build don't start at zero.
